Hello everyone out there in the cake world, or those looking to enjoy a sweet treat, my name is Amanda! I am a stay-at-home mom to 4 wonderful children, an advocate for adoption and fostering, the wife of a fire fighter and of course, a baker of specialty cakes! I created The Whisk and Spoon as a way to mix two of my favorite things: cake and art! I enjoy baking and making life`s delicious treats beautiful and unique! I enjoy learning new techniques and recipes, and making each cake I make both beautiful AND delicious!
